About Girls Academy League (GA)
The Girls Academy is the leading youth development platform for the best female soccer players in the United States and a U.S. Soccer Federation Member. The GA are the only national youth soccer platform that represents the collective vision of member clubs and actively engages the voice of the players to take real ownership of the league. They embrace the desire of club members and players to maintain an unrivaled standard of excellence in coaching, competition, and regional and national showcase events throughout the year.

GA Teams
Sac United fields six GA teams, including U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, and U19 teams that train 4 times a week and play a nationwide schedule. Trainings follow a structured curriculum.
Our GA Program
- 4 practices per week + video session
- Experienced & Licensed Coaches
- Sac United Girls Academy teams train at Granite Regional Park
- Each team plays approximately 15-22 league games, including games at National Showcases
- Can compete in NPL (contingent on qualification per age group)
- Athletic Trainers at every home game
- Girls Academy Playoffs if teams qualify
- Players can play in High School
- Strength & conditioning 2x a week with G6 Performance
- GA teams train for 10 months
- GA patch on home/away jersey sleeves.
- VEO Game Recordings – All games filmed with the ability to create highlight clips
- Individual Player Development Plans (IDP)
- Exposure to college coaches
- Exposure to US Youth National Team scouts/coaches
- Female Only League – GA dedicated to the betterment of the female game.
NorthWest Talent ID Event
Every year, the GA’s Northwest Conference will organize a regional Talent ID event, which will be hosted by a regional club showcasing some of the finest talent within the Northwest Conference. The purpose of the Talent ID event is to provide invited players with exposure to opportunities for success at the highest levels. This will be achieved through classroom sessions, on-field training exercises, and full-game experiential learning sessions with college scouts and coaches in attendance. Following the regional event, the top players identified from each conference’s Talent ID event will receive invitations to participate in National ID crossover matches held at both National and Regional GA events.

Uniform
The 2023/24 season will be the 2nd year of the uniform cycle (two years). New players will need to purchase the uniform from Kombat Soccer. Once teams are formed, managers will send out information on required items to purchase and how to order.

NOTE: GA teams have extensive travel within the region (Bay Area & Central Valley) . Coach travel expenses are in addition to team fees.
