The University of San Francisco women’s soccer
program hosted a tournament this past week with
4 Northern California teams squaring off.
Sacramento State, Chico State, San Jose State
and the USF Don’s played a round robin format in
Martinez, CA on Saturday March 6th. The
Sacramento State hornets have two alumni,
Savannah Abercrombie and Victoria Ramirez. The
USF Don’s have one former Sacramento United
player, Camile Cholger. Savannah played all 3
games in goal for the Hornets, showing
outstanding goalkeeper skills. The two teams
played to a 1-1 tie in their spring tune up
match. Unfortunately Camile and Victoria could
not participate in the matches due to injury.
